Installation Tips
Everyone can use a little more storage in their barn. This simple to make cabinet is sturdy, easy to make and will provide years of usefullness. You should use hasp and clips for extra security on the doors, especially if you own Houdini's like I do! They can get anything open. The instructions are below, along with the supply list
Assemble cabinet frame with 2x4's and RTC24s.
Check the squareness of frame.
Install top and floors with two finishing nails. Install side panels from the inside with SD8x1.25 screws. Notch top of side panels to avoid interference with inside of RTC connector.
Measure the door openings, leaving 1/8" space around the doors for a proper fit.
Use a sander around the upper outside door corners to conform with the RTC24.
Fasten hinges to doors, attach doors to cabinet, and install barrel bolts and door handles or hasps.
In the interior, fasten shelf supports. Glue shelves to the supports or leave loose for adjustable shelving.
