Trash Can Feed Storage

This will fit easily anywhere in your barn and there is no need to worry about the goats getting into the feed. This is simple to make, and does not take the best wood either.

 

Lumber:

Frame= (2) 2"x4" 14'

Front, Back, Sides, Deck, Lids, and Doors

(20) 1"x6"x 6'

(2) 1"x6"x 8'

(3) 1" x 6" x 10'

 

Hardware:

2 Inch Nails for Framing

1 1/2 inch nails for rest of building project

For Lids: 2 pair 5" Strap Hinges

(2) 5 " Handles

3 latches the one in front, so you can use padelock and the 2 on top a smaller padlock. Get the type that uses one key for all.

1 small gate latch

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just store your feed in the  aluminum trash cans, 50 gallon, and lock the front of your storaged and the top. Hang your key somewhere safe and stop worrying about feed thieves!
